6 Head / Six Head Capper, also called six head rotary chuck style cappers, are designed with a rotating disc that carries containers to be capped through the operation of the capper. The chucks are designed to place caps onto containers and tighten the caps on the containers as the container rotate around the outer circumference of the disc. Once the containers are capped, the containers are discharge from the six head chuck style capper onto a takeaway conveyor. The containers are timed into the proper position below the cap tightening chucks, usually by the use of a worm screw and star wheel.
