Inline Blister:
Inline blister machines are designed to seal blister cards to
blisters. Blisters are plastic indentations, which have been formed to
specifically hold a given product. Inline blister machines use
connected tooling that indexes in a straight line to move the blister,
the product, and the blister card below the blister card sealing head.
The tooling on an inline blister machine is specifically designed for
the size and shape of the blister and the blister card being run.
Inline blister machines will index the tooling, which indexes the
blister card to be sealed below the blister card sealing head.
As the blister card is being sealed (the blister card sealing cycle
normally takes a few seconds), blister cards can be discharged either
manually or automatically from the tooling stations after the blister
sealing head, and other blister cards can be formed in the stations
before the blister sealing head. Inline machines generally have a
number of stations before the blister sealing head. These additional
stations can be outfitted with automatic blister feeders, product
feeders, and blister card feeders.
