Tuck Cartoners Tuck cartoners are designed to seal cartons by tucking small tuck flaps into the other flaps of the carton.

Tuck cartoners are designed to close the minor flaps of the carton, to close one of the major flaps of the carton, to the other major flap of the carton, and to tuck a tuck flap of the carton into the proper slot to seal the carton. Different types of tuck cartons have been designed. Some tuck cartons tuck the tuck flap on the major flap into the other major flap.

Other tuck cartons only have one major flap and the tuck flaps are designed to tuck just inside the opposite side of the carton. These types of cartons can be straight tuck, where both ends of the carton have the tuck flaps on the same side of the carton, or reverse tuck where the tuck flaps on either end of the carton are on opposite sides of the carton.
