Shutter Blister:
Shutter
blister machines are designed to seal a blister card to a blister.
Blisters are plastic depressions that have been designed and formed to
hold a product. Shuttle blister machines use tooling (shuttle)
designed for the blister and blister card to shuttle the blister and
card below the blister card sealing head. When the tooling for the
blister shuttle machine is out from under the blister card sealing
head, an operator can easily unload a sealed blister card and load the
blister, product, and blister card into the tooling.
The operator then activates the blister card machine cycle, which
shuttles the blister card tooling below the blister card sealing head
where the blister card is sealed to the blister. Shuttle blister
machines tend to be the simplest blister sealing machines, but
generally have the lowest output.
