BLOWER EQUIPMENT -

Blower is a relatively low-pressure air / gas compressor system that is used for either a pressure or vacuum source for the pneumatic transport of materials or the aeration of liquid. Blower equipment can also be used for both.

Typical pressures for these blower equipment systems are 3 to 5 Psi for vacuum service to 25 Psi for pressure applications. Blower machines are usually examples of rotary equipment consisting of a screw or lobe type of displacement mechanism to compress the gases.

Typical applications of blower equipment range from sediment and erosion control to application of aggregates.
